The Organization
The Chrysalis Network is a 100% volunteer run, federal not-for-profit corporation. Our primary financial sponsor is the Spiral Phoenix Trauma Institute based in Edmonton, Alberta. Our work is also supported by fundraising efforts from partners involved in Freedom Relay Canada. Chrysalis runs Canada's only national human trafficking hotline, which provides trauma counselling, referrals, and safety planning to workers in the commercial sex industry. Chrysalis currently sponsors Canada's National Roundtable on Human Trafficking, an interdisciplinary forum of NGO, government, law enforcement, justice, and mental health partners. We also hosts Canada's only national human trafficking investigators forum, an initiative designed to share best practices among law enforcement representatives from coast to coast.
